The day ahead
Today, we’ll see the Westpac/Melbourne Institute Leading Index. While the main conclusion is the direction of the Aussie dollar, its indicators are a broad picture of the economy. Investors are also anticipating Thursday’s release of our unemployment rate.
Also, today we will see BHP (ASX: BHP) release its quarterly. Although it is a large cap some of its statements about what commodities and projects are working and what are not might raise a few eyebrows in the small cap space, especially those with neighbouring. Also releasing results is graphite explorer Syrah Resources (ASX: SYR).
