Today is the deadline for ASX companies to submit their quarterlies. Stockhead has recapped the Top 5 winners in morning trade, as investors responded to the latest earnings report cards.
This New Zealand business is a business management app which aggregates data across businesses, apps they use and their bank.
It reported quarterly operating receipts of $2.8 million and while it had a net operating cash burn of $0.7 million, this was well under the $1.7 million it previously forecast.
9Spokes also has over 200,000 businesses in North America as subscribers, thanks to its deployment with Virgin Money, and it launched a number of new platform tools.
LCT is another Kiwi company but it is a biotech focused on Parkinson’s.
While the company only finished the quarter with $997,498 in cash, it completed a $3.5 million capital raising in October and is looking to begin a third clinical trial of NTCell.
It also signed an MOU with a fellow biotech company to breed and maintain pigs to provide tissue for the trial.
ReadCloud is one of the ASX’s so-called “edtech” stocks, a space it fits into by providing digital textbooks.
The company reported a 103% increase in cash receipts from customers in 12 months – albeit from $0.26 million to $0.52 million.
It says the majority of existing schools have recommitted for next year and the rate of recommitment was higher than the same time last year.
This company is in the renewable energy space but is an incubator and accelerator of companies.
During the quarter it completed its first two investments and revealed to shareholders discussions to make a third – into the green hydrogen space.
The company said there are strong tail winds in the sector with record equity being raised by clean energy companies in the first half of this year but there were few opportunities in the ASX to access it.
The independent game developer has spent much of its listed life underwater but it was a winner this morning.
It made $1.2 million in revenue, up 142% in 12 months and reported progress on a number of its games. While a fair proportion aren’t yet released, those that are saw strong demand.
It’s Gabby’s Dollhouse game saw 33% higher use downloads – surpassing 7 million to date- and Average Revenue per Daily Active User for its AVA’s Manor game grew 32%.
