Junior mining services provider Vysarn (ASX:VYS) has won a contract worth an estimated $13.3m over two years from iron ore giant Fortescue Metals Group (ASX:FMG).

The company’s wholly-owned subsidiary Pentium Hydro will provide drilling and installation of production, injection and monitoring bores to support mining and exploration activities across FMG’s projects in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.

Projects covered by this agreement include Cloudbreak, Christmas Creek, Solomon and Eliwana.

Earlier this month, the company picked up a contract from Gina Rinehart’s Roy Hill Iron Ore for the provision of dual rotary and reverse circulation water bore drilling services, minor civil works, as well as rotary air and conventional drilling services.

Meanwhile, Wagners Holding Company (ASX:WGN) has secured a contract from Adani Mining to operate the South Back Creek Quarry in Queensland that is expected to be worth over $35m over two stages.

The operation will supply quarry materials for supporting infrastructure on Adani’s Carmichael thermal coal project in central Queensland.

Wagner will be required to produce up to 1.5 million tonnes of quarry materials for the development of roads, camps, pads, dams and mine civil works over a period of up to five years.

It will also provide haulage services for the delivery of this material to various work areas across the project.
