Midday small cap winners and losers; resources juniors lead the way

Here are the key gainers and losers among ASX small caps at 12pm AEDT Wednesday:
In the green
Dempsey Minerals (ASX:DMI) continues its strong run to lead the winners at midday, up 30.5 per cent to trade at 12c.
The company told shareholders on Monday it was eyeing off South America’s “lithium triangle” with an option to acquire a package of tenements from Blue Sky Lithium.
Blackham Resources (ASX:BLK) enjoyed a boost this morning, its stock rising 30 per cent to trade at 6.5c at midday.
It told the market January’s production of 6,498 oz was a 19 per cent increase from the previous, and a record milled tonnage.
Quantum Energy (ASX:QTM) was up 23 per cent on no news to 2.6c.
Sihayo Gold (ASX:SIH) rebounded 21 per cent from a low yesterday to trade at 1.7c.
Tech developer Prophecy International (ASX:PRO) was up almost as much as their newly announced revenue growth.
The stock was up 21 per cent to trade at 72c — off the announcement of a 24 per cent growth in revenue for the half year.
In the red
Angola based miner Rift Valley Resources (ASX:RVY) was down 16 per cent to 2c with no news in the market.
In an update to market last month, the company told shareholders there was high potential to significantly expand the current Mineral Resource at its 70 per cent owned Longonjo Magnet Metal Project.
Telco Amaysim Australia (ASX:AYS) was down 16 per cent after releasing its first half trading update this morning.
It said revenue was boosted by solid subscriber growth and new verticals, amaysim energy and amaysim devices.
They forecast revenue of $292 million to $294 million for the half year.
WPG Resources (ASX:WPG) settled after topping the list yesterday and doubling its share price on news of ‘spectacular’ gold results.
The stock was trading down 13 per cent at 2.6c.
Tungsten Mining (ASX:TGN) was down 12 per cent at 18c, with no news in the market.
And Proteomics International (ASX:PIQ) settled after a strong rise last week.
Today the stock was down 12 per cent at 25.5c, after reaching highs of 30c earlier in the week and announcing investment in clinical services specialist CPR Pharma.
