GOING UP
Shares in oil producer Sundance Energy (ASX:SEA) rose 11 per cent to an intraday high of 9.8c after lifting its guidance on the amount of oil it will produce out of its Texas site.
The US-based onshore oil and gas producer expects September quarter production to be at the top end of its 10,000-11,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boe/d) guidance.
“Production performance during the third quarter was driven by bringing nine wells online… All initial production results to date on the Company’s acquired acreage have exceeded expectations,” Sundance said.
Kyckr (ASX:KYK) shares were also up 11 per cent, to an intraday high of 11c, after posting record revenue for the September quarter.
Though customer receipts are yet to hit the highs the company forecast earlier this year of $600,000, Kyckr said it made record revenue of $548,000 during the September quarter.
The merry-go-round keeps turning at HIV fighter Biotron (ASX:BIT) with its shares up 29 per cent today to an intraday high of 13.5c — short of last week’s all-time high of 16c, but continuing to climb after a small fall from the peak of last week’s excitement.
In a letter to shareholders today, Biotron chief Michelle Miller said it had been a “game-changing” year for the company and that it would be briefing “potential pharmaceutical partners” on its trial outcomes over the coming weeks.
Before Dragontail Systems (ASX:DTS) went into a trading halt this morning regarding an upcoming announcement about a potential investor taking a significant shareholding, 23 trades were completed at a value of $216,000.
That sent the stock up 21 per cent to an intraday high of 17c, before the company went into a trading halt “as the company is in negotiation with a potential investor in relation to undertaking a substantial placement in the company”.
Dragontail says it will release the news before Thursday.
