Lunchtime ASX small cap wrap: who’s taking centre stage today

Here are the key ASX small cap winners and losers at lunch Thursday July 19.
The ASX Small Ords was up 8.6 points or 0.3 per cent to 2,387 at 12.15pm AEST.
Queensland Bauxite (ASX:QBL) was one of the most active small cap players this morning with 21 million shares worth $970,000 changing hands by 11am.
The share price was also up by as much as 21c to a intraday high of 4.6c, with the company’s acquisition target MedCan Australia securing export and import medical cannabis licences.
The stock was trading at 4.1c at 12.40pm AEST.
GOING UP
Osprey Medical (ASX:OSP) hiked as much as 36 per cent to a morning high of 20.5c after releasing its quarterly figures.
The kidney testing tools biotech told investors revenue was up 23 per cent quarter-on-quarter to $651,000.
Hydrogen production tech play Hazer (ASX:HZR) was up 20 per cent to an intraday high of 23.5c after releasing an update on its pilot testing of the “Hazer” process.

The company is working on commercialising the approach, which uses iron ore as a catalyst to convert natural gases into hydrogen and graphite.
Hazer said it had increased its production by 400 per cent at its pilot plant, compared with its very first testing rounds.
Esports play SportsHero (ASX:SHO) was up 17 per cent, hitting 13.5c this morning off no news, as was AssetOwl (ASX:AO1), up 25 per cent to 4.5c with no new announcements.

Fintech SelfWealth (ASX:SWF) released its Q4 numbers and dropped by 18 per cent this morning to a low of 11.5c.
The company increased revenues for the quarter 17 per cent to $372,000. Cash receipts from customers came it at just over $500,000 but the company burned $1.7 million in the three months to June 30.
