Augmented reality wifi detector Norwood Systems (ASX:NOR) climbed 40 per cent today after launching a “World Voicemail” service available in 90 countries.
World Voicemail targets phone users “who cannot obtain a visual voicemail service from their existing mobile provider”.
The product — which turns voicemail into “a social media-like news feed” — is priced at $5.99 per month and is offered at discounted wholesale rates to telcos.
Norwood shares gained 40 per cent to an intraday high of 0.7c. The shares have drited down from a high of 3.5c late last year.
Business software maker Cape Range (ASX:CAG) continued to rocket today amid heavy trading — and no news — until it was suspended after another ASX query.
After doing nothing since its November debut at 20c, the stock suddenly took off at the start of the month — topping our IPO list with a 475 per cent jump to $1.15.
By Friday the stock was $1.61 — a gain of 155 per cent for the week.
Today it was up another 40 per cent to an intraday high of $2.25 before suspension.
Why? Cape Range told the ASX on Monday it had no idea.
Kiwi germ killer Zoono (ASX:ZNO) moved ahead 18 per cent in early trade after telling investors it expects to report a maiden full-year profit.
Zoono makes anti-microbial sprays designed to disinfect surfaces, kill mould — and even treat acne.
Its product range is based around the “Zoono Molecule: a unique, antimicrobial molecule that bonds to any surface and kills pathogens including bacteria, viruses, algae, fungi and mould”.
Today the business told investors it expected $NZ3.4 million revenue compared to about $NZ839,000 last year — a jump of more than 300 per cent.
“The group has also made an unaudited maiden profit for the year,” Zoono told investors.
Elsewhere, carbon fibre maker Quickstep Holdings (ASX:QHL) gained 13 per cent to an intraday high of 9.4c after a restructure pushed it into second-half positive earnings and cashflow.
Quickstep is ramping up supplies for projects such as the joint strike fighter (JSF) program.
“Over the next three years Quickstep expects to benefit from increasing JSF production and higher margins as economies of scale improve…
“Over the life of the JSF program, Quickstep will manufacture and supply more than $1 billion in JSF composite components and assemblies,” the group said.
Lithium explorer Liontown Resources (ASX:LTR) released its first vanadium resource — amounting to 80 million tonnes — for a Queensland project.
Liontown has now expanded its suite of battery metals and says there is still more room for the vanadium resource to grow.
The news pushed shares up 7.4 per cent to an intra-day high of 2.9c.
Fintech EML Payments (ASX:EML) gained 14 per cent to $1.625 after finalising a five- year deal with a shopping mall operator to manage a gift card program for 87 retail centres in Germany.

GOING DOWN
Digital billboard maker XTD lost ground after cancelling its acquisition of mobile ad start-up Contact Light amid consolidation in the so-called “out-of-home” advertising sector.
The stock fell 13 per cent to 2.6c in early Monday trade.
“Since the company’s previous update the implications of the recent M&A [merger and acqusition] activity in Out-of-Home sector have become more apparent,” XTD told investors on Monday morning.
“In particular, they have directly impacted Contact Light’s negotiations to monetise its proprietary data products before the M&A wave, and these conversations are now being restructured to take advantage of the significant market consolidation.
“Therefore, the XTD Board has resolved to indefinitely delay the proposed purchase of CL.”
