Could silver be the coronavirus cure everyone’s been looking for? “Absolutely!” US naturopath Dr Sherrill Sellman says.
Silver Solution—a product you can buy from televangelist Jim Bakker right now — has been found to be effective on coronavirus, ‘Sellman’ says on Bakker’s show without a hint of irony.
“Well, let’s say [Silver Solution] hasn’t been tested on this strain of the coronavirus, but it’s been tested on other strains of the coronavirus and has been able to eliminate it within 12 hours,” she said.
“Totally eliminate it. Kills it, deactivates it. And then it boosts your immune system so then you can support the recovery, because when you kill the virus, then the immune system comes into action to clear it out.”
Now to markets — US and European share markets were weaker yesterday as investors grappled with China’s new way of counting coronavirus cases.
This new method shows a large jump in cases — 42 new deaths and 14,840 new infections — in Hubei province, the centre of the outbreak.

Biotech stock Oventus Medical (ASX:OVN) is enjoying a ~26 per cent bump after announcing that its O2Vent breathing apparatus is approved for reimbursement for patients covered by United States Centres for Medicare & Medicaid.
“It opens up a whole market that may not have previously been able to afford our treatment and we expect further increased demand for our ‘lab-in-lab’ model as a result,” Oventus chief exec Dr Chris Hart says.
Kingwest Resources (ASX:KWR) has upgraded the shallow Pericles prospect to 1.4 million tonnes at 1.8g/t gold for 79,500oz — an 87 per cent increase over the previous resource estimate in March 2016.
Pericles, which goes from surface to 120m depth (and remains ‘open’), is just the first of numerous deposits to be reviewed as potential open pit exploitable resources at the Menzies gold project, Kingwest says.

An ongoing quarrel with former JV partner/takeover target Dampier Gold (ASX:DAU) saw Vango Mining (ASX:VAN) fall 16 per cent in morning trade.
On February 12, Dampier issued a letter of demand to the company “by which it makes a number of spurious and unsubstantiated allegations in support of their claim for damages,” the $90m market cap gold explorer says.
“Vango denies each and every allegation made and will vigorously defend any proceedings brought by Dampier.”
