Lunchtime ASX small cap wrap: Who’s on a hot streak today?
News
Here’s one for the Kiwis. Back in 2006, a 25-year old Lisa Lewis streaked across the field during an All Blacks game; and now she is running for politics (again).
This time she is serious about her political run. Streaking was something to tick off her bucket list, Lewis says, but not something she would do again.

Australian markets have retreated today. The ASX Small Ords has lost 0.27 per cent 2,873 points and ASX 200 is down 0.28 per cent to 6,654 points.
ANZ-Roy Morgan consumer confidence fell 3.5 per cent last week to its lowest level in two years.
“This is a disappointing development and suggests that expectations for tax and interest rate cuts to spur the consumer to lift the economy may be misplaced,” ANZ senior economist Felicity Emmett said.
Meanwhile, the Australian Bureau of Statistics fell 0.7 per cent in the June quarter and 7.4 per cent in the last year. While the ABS noted there were some signs of improvement in the market, the market was still below its position a year ago.
Another stock has joined the club of ASX small caps, which in 2019 have gained 100 per cent or more in a day. Mount Burgess Mining (ASX:MTB) surged 167 per cent on the back of no news.
Among stock with news, GetSwift (ASX:GSW) climbed 13 per cent after winning another client – Pizza Hut’s owner in Saudi Arabia, Awni & Bashar Shaker.
Novita Healthcare (ASX:NHL) gained a pathway into the UK market and it’s up 18 per cent.
