Ahoy folks, happy Friday. Here are your biggest small cap winners and losers in morning trade, but first – we all know cooling room temperature beer takes forever. Forever.

Forbes calls it “the Holy Grail of consumer refrigeration”.

This is a genuinely useful tech breakthrough — but it could be a while before you can get your hands on one. Maybe next summer.

Global stocks are surging again as US-Iran tensions diminish. The ASX Small Ords Index — up 0.24 per cent to 2988.5 points in early trade — is very close to punching through the magical 3000-point mark.

Here are all your key small cap winners and losers in morning trade for Friday, January 10:

GOING UP:

Classic Minerals (ASX:CLZ) +50%

The gold explorer says drilling has recommenced at the Kat Gap project after the program was interrupted by bushfires last month.

Previous drilling by Classic at Kat Gap returned thick, shallow and high-grade gold intercepts including 5m at 14 grams per tonne (g/t), just 17m from surface. Stay tuned folks.
