Lunchtime ASX small cap wrap: who’s jumping higher today

Here are the key ASX small cap winners and losers at lunchtime Tuesday, July 24:
The ASX Small Ords was up 11 points or 0.04 per cent to 2,842.6 at 12.30pm AEST.
Gold miner Classic Minerals (ASX:CLZ) was the most actively traded small cap in the first hours of the morning, with 50.4 million shares worth $250,00 changing hands by 11.30am.
The stock increased as much as 50 per cent to an intraday high of 6c before settling to 5c after the company outlined strong drilling results which showed high-grade gold intercepts at its Forrestania project in Western Australia.
GOING UP
Fellow resources play Clancy Exploration (ASX:CLY) also kicked off the morning with 33 per cent gains, hitting a morning high of 0.4c after the company told investors it would acquire 100 per cent of a new cobalt licence for an area close to the Bourse Azzer cobalt mine.
The company will pay $US50,000 for the exploration licence from local miner Chater SARL.

Boadicea Resources (ASX:BOA) released a quarterly activities report on its nickel, copper and gold projects and then moved upwards 29 per cent to a high of 11c by 12pm.
Meanwhile, Mustang Resources (ASX:MUS) was up by as much as 15 per cent after revealing the size of its graphite mineral resource at the Caula vanadium-graphite project in Mozambique had increased 317 per cent according to updated measurements.
EVE Investments (ASX:EVE) had gained 12.5 per cent by 12pm to a high of 0.9c after confirming it had finalised a deal to lease its tea tree plantation to fellow pot stock The Hydroponics Company (THC).
In May, THC confirmed it had applied to the Office of Drug Control to gain the relevant licences to grow organic medicinal cannabis on the site.
The site will become the main cannabis source for a large-scale THC marijuana manufacturing operation in Queensland and includes a sales agreement with EVE’s half-owned subsidiary Meluka Health.
