Lunchtime ASX small cap wrap: who’s going for a hole-in-one

Here are the key ASX small cap winners and losers at lunch Thursday Nov 8:
The ASX Small Ords was up 31.5 points or 1.2 per cent to 2,685.9 at 12.30pm AEST.
GOING UP
After yesterday’s 334 per cent run that sent trader forum HotCopper into near-meltdown, Purifloh (ASX:PO3) shares were on the rise again today — over and beyond the $2.40 that a US billionaire paid for 4 million shares.
This morning the air and water purifier hit an intraday of $2.62 — 21 per cent up on yesterday’s close of $2.17.
At the start of the week the stock was fetching 50c.
All the commotion was over American businessman Bill Parfet taking a $9.6 million, 17 per cent stake in the ASX tiddler.
It wasn’t just Purifloh with the big moves however.
Today, another ASX minnow, Energy Technologies (ASX:EGY) more than quadrupled in value, gaining 350 per cent from 0.2c to 0.9c before a trading halt.
Energy Tech said an announcement was pending.
Suda Pharmaceuticals (ASX:SUD) shares rose as much as 80 per cent to 0.9c on news the company had struck a deal to develop its migraine treatment in the US.
Suda told investors this morning it had signed an exclusive development, licence and supply agreement with Strides Pharma to develop and commercialise Suda’s SUD-001H, which is an oral spray of sumatriptan to treat migraine headaches for the US market.

Explorer Hexagon Resources (ASX:HXG) has locked in a joint venture deal which could see its McIntosh graphite project in Western Australia funded through to production within three years.
Hexagon shares rallied as much as 14 per cent to an intraday high of 16c on the news — which essentially de-risked an agreement signed between the explorer and lithium and iron ore miner MinRes (ASX:MIN) in March.

Crowd Mobile (ASX:CM8) lost 25 per cent before midday, dropping to an intraday low of 3c after closing at 4c yesterday.
Yesterday the company said “head winds” had impacted revenues and profits for one of its business divisions and today it announced a share purchase plan to raise up to $700,000.
