News
News
Here are the key ASX small cap winners at lunch Wednesday April 3:
The ASX Small Ords was up 10.1 points or 0.4 per cent to 2,794.1 at 12pm AEST.
News that Florida’s Department of Education had approved KNeoMedia’s (ASX:KNM) KneoWorld as a partner product sent the tech company’s shares up 39 per cent to 2.5c.
KNeoMedia chief James Kellett told investors this access to funding had previously roadblocked the company from significant expansion.
Matador Mining (ASX:MZZ) raised $5 million to be used in the upcoming exploration season, as well as announcing that it would acquire a 100 per cent stake in the Cape Gray gold project.
That pushed shares up 39 per cent to 26.5c.
Crypto broker DigitalX (ASX:DCC) doesn’t have any news out, but its shares are on a tear, rising 32 per cent to 7.5c, with more than 19 million shares trading hands this morning.
Could that be due to the sudden, unexplained surge in Bitcoin prices?
And Devine (ASX:DVN) shares rose 19 per cent this morning to 16c. No news, but noteworthy as it was on the back of just one trade of two shares.
