Here are the key ASX small cap winners and losers at lunch Wednesday July 11.
The ASX Small Ords was down 12 points or 0.4 per cent to 2,843 at 12.45pm AEST.
TV streamer TV2U International (ASX:TV2) was the morning’s most actively-traded small cap, with 19 million shares worth $260,000 changing hands by 12pm.
The company’s shares jumped 40 per cent to 1.4c. The business — which delivers streaming TV into Asia — released no news to investors on Wednesday. Its last update was June 20 when the business told investors about its World Cup activities.
GOING UP
Vivid Technology (ASX:VIV) was up by as much as 22 per cent to an intraday high of 5.5c. The energy efficiency play announced a partnership with Origin Energy this morning to develop an “lighting as a service” Internet Of Things platform called LightingFlex.
The deal will see Origin market the product to customers. Those who take up the offer will have Vivid’s Matrixx energy-saving lighting platform installed into their homes.
Anti-counterfeiter DOTZ Nano (ASX:DTZ) saw a 26 per cent jump to 12c this morning after telling investors it had completed a successful trial of its Validotz verification product for China’s tobacco industry.
Red Sky Energy (ASX:ROG) gained another 20 per cent this morning up to an intraday high of 0.6c, a day after announcing plans to acquire the Innamincka Dome Project from Beach Energy.
AI play OpenDNA (ASX:OPN) was more than 40 per cent higher than Tuesday’s closing price by 12pm, up to 4.5c with no news on the table.
