Lunchtime ASX small cap wrap: Who’s dancing all the way to the bank today?

The Bankstown office of LJ Hooker set the internet alight yesterday, after posting a video ad showing two people dancing dramatically in a property situated at Padstow, NSW.
It could either be classified as a train wreck or strangely satisfying, depending on a viewer’s visceral response to viral content.
LJ Hooker’s communications team edged toward the former, eventually choosing to take the video down.
There hasn’t been much dancing on kitchen benches among ASX small caps today, as the Small Ordinaries followed the broader index lower into the Easter break.
As at 12pm AEST the Small Ords had fallen by 10.4 points to 2,792.60 — a percentage fall of 0.37 per cent.
A total of 11 small caps posted gains of at least 20 per cent in morning trade, and 10 of those were from two sectors — energy and resources.
Lithium minnow Caeneus Minerals (ASX: CADDA) led the way, rising 50 per cent to 0.2 cents just two days after an 80 per cent fall.
Of the top 11, just two of them posted newsworthy announcements within the last week. Caeneus announced the results of a shareholder’s meeting last Friday, where a consolidation of the company’s stock was approved by the “requisite show of hands”.
And Victory Mines (ASX: VIC) sent a letter to shareholders last Thursday, announcing it was looking to raise $1.225 million via a one-for-three share offer priced at 0.3 cents per share.

Happy Easter holidays everyone, and RIP to the original version of the LJ Hooker video.
Luckily, Twitter account @AttackOfTheClaw has done the Lord’s work, posting a remix of the ad which happens to match perfectly with the dirty dancing soundtrack (of course it does).
