West Africa-focused gold explorer Azumah Resources (ASX:AZM) has made a new high-grade discovery beneath an existing deposit in Ghana.
Drilling beneath the Bepkong deposit has returned a 93m semi-continuous mineralised zone hosting grades as high as 88.71 grams per tonne (g/t).
The new find sent shares up almost 23 per cent in early trade on Wednesday to a peak of 2.7c. Over 4 million shares had changed hands by 11.30am AEDT.
Shares in tech company Invigor Group (ASX:IVO) shot up 25 per cent to 0.5c after it announced its German subsidiary TillerStack had secured $720,000 worth of new contracts in December thus far.
It says the total value of new and renewed contracts over the past two months was worth $1.54 million.
“We expect this trend of new business wins to continue well into calendar year 2019,” said TillerStack chief Leslie Cohen.
Croplogic (ASX:CLI) was up 27 per cent to an intraday high of 1.9c after making its first sale from the Sunraysia region for its agtech hardware-software solution.
The order follows the recent opening of its first regional Australian office, in Mildura.
“I have been impressed with the Sunraysia region’s agricultural industry growth and pleased at the positive response that CropLogic has received from the regional government and our partners as well as from the local farming community,” said Croplogic CEO James Cooper-Jones.
Shares in smart car tech company Connexion Media (ASX:CXZ) have hit their highest point since the start of the year, reaching 1.1c, a rise of 38 per cent on yesterday’s close of 0.8c.
The company had no news out today, though it announced a share sale facility for holders of less than a marketable parcel — a holding worth less than $500 — yesterday, and had to answer a speeding ticket from the ASX on Monday.
