GOING UP
Environment monitors Envirosuite (ASX:EVS) just produced one of the ASX’s more unique contract wins — it’s going to monitor bad smells in Kuwait.
And Envirosuite today told investors that it had secured a three-year contract for a smart city project with the Kuwait Environment Public Authority (K-EPA) to provide a “city-wide odour monitoring and management system”.
They responded in kind, sending the company’s shares up as much as 33 per cent, to 6.9c.
Shares in Flinders Mines (ASX:FMS), which is planning to delist from the ASX, rose as much as 54 per cent today, hitting an intraday high of 5.4c.
That was thanks to an announcement that company was going to buy shares back from holders who own less than 7,143 shares for 7.5c a pop.
The rollercoaster ride continued at Donaco International (ASX:DNA), with the company’s shares rising 20 per cent to an intraday high of 2c.
The company gained 116 per cent last week when it announced a strategic review, but then lost 30 per cent on Friday.
Equus Mining (ASX:EQE) might be in for a speeding ticket from the ASX, as its shares rose 43 per cent to an intraday high of 2c today on the back of no news.
Equus shares closed at 1.4c on Friday but shot up before lunch today. The company has had no price-sensitive news out since the resignation of its managing director over a month ago.
