Here are the key ASX small cap winners and losers at lunch Thursday November 29:
The ASX Small Ords was up 24.8 points or 0.97 per cent to 2,557.92 at 12:20pm AEST.
WINNERS
Micro cap explorer Manhattan Corp (ASX:MHC) bounced up 40 per cent to 0.2c this morning on the back of an ambiguously worded announcement: “highest copper grade ever intersected at Joshua”.
The announcement was, in fact, referring to the highest grades intersected so far at Manhattan’s Joshua project in Chile, (which at 0.36 per cent are far from the highest ever found, period).
Lithium player Latin Resources (ASX:LRS) was up almost 34 per cent to 0.4c after it signed a key community agreement to support development of its lithium projects in the San Luis province of Argentina.
It now plans to enter discussions with the local government to get exploration and drilling permits.
Riversgold (ASX:RGL) was up about 7.6 per cent to 8.5c in morning trade after telling investors it was “refining targets” at its IOCG prospect for an early 2019 drilling program.
Its Churchill Dam prospect is about 65km southwest of BHP’s spectacular Oak Dam discovery.

LOSERS
The share price of junior gold explorer Explaurum (ASX:EXU) was punished this morning – down 22 per cent to 8.9c in morning trade — after a takeover offer fell through.
Mid-tier gold miner Ramelius bailed on the hostile takeover bid for junior explorer Explaurum because it couldn’t beat an alternative offer made by Alkane Resources.
