This week he believes his long-held pride has led to discrimination against him. “I’ve lost my dream home at the 11th hour because I like to look good,” he said.
The bank knocked him back because of his expensive habit, which they only discovered through a Google search.
He probably should kick the habit. Although he does have a point when he says if he gambled that same amount of money he’d have a better chance. Avocados anyone?
The ASX has gained again today. The Small Ords Index is up 0.38 per cent to 2,826 points while the ASX 200 is up 0.45 per cent to 6,512 points.
CBA’s PMI data, released this morning, showed the first decline in private sector output since March yet sentiment was rated as positive.
Going up
ERM Power (ASX:EPW) has gained over 40 per cent after shareholders found out about a takeover offer — at a similar premium to yesterday’s price.
Lithium miner Pioneer Resources (ASX:PIO) intersected significant lithium at its project and gained 27 per cent.
