GOING UP
Fenix Resources (ASX:FEX) was the morning’s biggest winner, up an astronomical 164 per cent before lunch as it came out of a trading halt to spruik “significant high-grade iron ore” at its Iron Ridge project in Western Australia.
Shares hit 5.8c, a record high for the company since it changed names from Emergent Resources last year.
Elixinol (ASX:EXL) has told Aussie investors its products are now available for import in New Zealand, following that country’s decision to allow medicinal cannabis.
Shares rose as high as $3.03, a 10 per cent rise, just short of its all time high of $3.12. Elixinol’s range of capsules, creams and tinctures can now be imported into New Zealand by individual patients if they meet prescription guidelines.
In Idaho, First Cobalt (ASX:FCC) drilling has deepened the cobalt-copper mineralisation by about 100m in the central area of its Iron Creek project resource.
Read the Stockhead cobalt news wrap for further info on why that’s important — in the meantime, the company’s shares jumped by about 6 per cent to 17.5c on the news.
Telco 5G Networks (ASX:5GN) was up 14 per cent to an intraday high of 65c before lunch following the release of its quarterly report.
That was thank to some impressive financial figures, including a 1,654 per cent rise in cash receipts compared with the half-year report of 2018.
