Lunchtime ASX small cap wrap: Who’s launching road rockets today?

Late last year, this car (named the Bloodhound) was up for sale for the cost of a Ferrari. Now it has been repainted and shipped to South Africa, where it will attempt to break a speed record.

With engine power equivalent to over 150 Formula One cars, it will challenge the road speed record  – which is currently a lazy 763 miles (1,228 kilometres) per hour.
