Here are the top ASX large cap movers for Monday

The ASX 200 finished strong to finish in positive territory of +0.07%, after being down for most of the day.

The biggest losses were in the Energy sector, which fell by more than 1.7% as oil prices dropped 1% on Friday.

Energy plays like Woodside Petroleum (ASX:WPL), Santos (ASX:STO) and and Oil Search (ASX:OSH) all dropped by up to 3%.

The Tech sector meanwhile, was the best performer and rose by almost 1%.

Tech plays like Afterpay (ASX:APT), Xero (ASX:XRO), and Computershare (ASX:CPU) all rose by around 1%.

Other stocks like Fortescue (ASX:FMG) were falling as they traded ex-dividend today. FMG has just paid a record $2.11 final dividend per share, which is twice the amount it paid last year.

HealthCo’s Healthcare and Wellness (ASX:HCW) REIT (real estate investment trust) made its ASX debut today and immediately rose by 14% to $2.29 (from IPO price of $2).

The REIT has been seeded with a number of assets including Health Hub Morayfield (Queensland), private oncology assets, and a private hospital in Camden.

Oil Search and Santos have extended their mutual period of due diligence by one week. Following due diligence, the $21bn all-scrip deal would see Santos acquiring all the shares of Oil Search at a ratio of 0.6275 Santos per 1 share of OSH.

Tyro Payments (ASX:TYR) rose after being included into the ASX 200 index for the first time this quarter. The rebalancing will take effect on Monday, September 20.

Premier Investments (ASX:PMV) announced that former JB Hi-Fi CEO, Richard Murray, will take the helm as its new CEO. Murray will replace PMV’s outgoing CEO, Mark McInnes in early October.

Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS) fell after announcing that Mineral Resources (ASX: MIN) has exited its 5.4% shareholding in PLS worth around $328m.

Separately, PLS announced a substantial increase in the Mineral Resource at its flagship 100%-owned Pilgangoora Lithium-Tantalum Project in WA’s Pilbara region to 308.9 million tonnes, reinforcing its position as the world’s premier hard rock lithium operation.
