Gold junior Rimfire Pacific Mining (ASX:RIM) rose after announcing an earn in and joint venture agreement for its New South Wales project.
Its peer 3D Resources (ASX:DDD) was another stock that rallied after managing to close a $2.1 million capital raising.
It was at a premium to its previous share price and raised 50 per cent more than its market cap before the market opened this morning.
