Today the ASX plunged over 3 per cent in the first hour of trade but clawed back some losses to finish only 1.8 per cent in the red. Only 206 stocks gained while 1,221 fell. 689 were unchanged.
Wave energy microcap Carnegie Clean Energy (ASX:CCE) was up after giving shareholders a company update. It’s getting involved in four short term scoping study projects.
Diversified financial group Consolidated Operations Group (ASX:COG) likewise rose with a company update.
Despite a capital raising at a discount, imaging solutions provider Mach7 Technologies (ASX:M7T) actually rose, reporting there was strong demand from investors.
Industrial microcap 333D (ASX:T3D) announced it had reduced some of its debt by turning it into equity.
