Asset management firm AWN Holdings (ASX:AWN) rose sharply after its subsidiary Tembo — a manufacturer of electric vehicles — announced a material Canadian distribution agreement.

The company said Canadian industrial equipment distributor Acces Industriel Mining plans to purchase 1,675 vehicles over a 5+ year timeframe, in a deal it said will generate around US$120m in revenue.

Also rising strongly was infant formula manufacture Bubs (ASX:BUB), which got a boost after announcing US giant Walmart.com will stock its product from September.
