Junior explorer Victory Mines (ASX:VIC) led the pack in percentage terms, ticking higher to 0.3c after announcing its drilling program is underway at its Coogee copper project in WA.

And after climbing more than 40 per cent higher through midday trade, biotech debutante Argenica (ASX:AGN) — which is developing a neuroprotective drug that can be used by field paramedics in the treatment of stroke — closed 30 per cent higher on its first day of trade.
