Classic Minerals (ASX:CLZ) ticked higher after announcing it’s received approval from the WA Department of Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety to commence mining for bulk samples at its Kat Gap gold project.

Among the other resources stocks with news, Minotaur Exploration (ASX:MEP)  rose after the Great White kaolin project on the Eyre Peninsula in SA — a joint venture in which it has a 25% stake — secured a binding off-take agreement from a Chinese commodity trading house.
