Among stocks with announcements, Great Northern Minerals (ASX:GNM) held its gains on strong volume after a big high-grade gold hit at its Camel Creek project in North Queensland.
The winner’s list had a heavy gold flavour, and Argent Minerals (ASX:ARD) also rose strongly after announcing the Strike Drilling reverse circulation drill rig has arrived at its full-owned Pine Ridge gold project.
ARD will now complete a 20-hole RC drilling program in the area of the historical Pine Ridge underground gold mine, which CEO George Karageorge said “should return encouraging results based on modelling and geophysical work completed to date”.
