WINNERS
Over 4 years since its listing, Lefroy (ASX:LEX) has hit an all time high – more than triple what it closed yesterday at. The catalyst was the latest exploration results at its Burns gold-copper prospect.
An outstanding intercept in drill hole LEFR260 was reported, containing:
- 60m at 5.22g/t gold and 0.38 per cent copper from 112m down-hole including:
- 20m at 12.2g/t gold, 0.87 per cent copper and 1.7g/t silver from 144m.
Meanwhile, Canberra casino Aquis Entertainment (ASX:AQS) went on another run today, finishing up 58 per cent at 41 cents.
Helix Resources (ASX:HLX) rose too after beginning an airborne electromagnetic (EM) survey on its Cobar copper projects.
LOSERS
Caravan operator Apollo Tourism and Leisure (ASX:ATL) fell after half yearly results.
National Tyre and Wheel (ASX:NTD) also dropped significantly in price Tuesday with the announcement that US company Goodyear Tire and Rubber is to buy Cooper Tire and Rubber which a NTD subsidiary currently distributes.
