A number of stocks posted sharp moves higher on market-moving announcements, but gains were easily led by Province Resources (ASX:PRL), which ripped higher for an intra-day gain of 458pc.
It followed news that PRL has acquired the Gascoyne and HyEnergy projects in WA’s north-west, where it will explore various commodity opportunities.
The initial focus will be on renewable green hydrogen, as well as industrial minerals like salt, sulphate of potash (SOP) and mineral sands, PRL said.
