Finishing on top was new listee Pentanet (ASX:5GG) which finished up 136 per cent from its IPO price.
The company is the ASX’s newest telco stock, based in Perth and is seeking to use the proceeds to expand to the East Coast.
Sustainable infrastructure play Calix (ASX:CXL) told shareholders it was joining a major carbon capture project in Europe.
Most other winners were stocks releasing their quarterly reports. The biggest winners at the day’s end were ReNu Energy (ASX:RNE) and Fintech Chain (ASX:FTC).

Today capped off a whirlwind week for GME Resources (ASX:GME). It shares a stock code with Reddit favourite Gamestop (NYSE:GME) and 15 minutes into trading had doubled in a week.
But it was then halted pending a price query in which it confirmed there was no news to report other than possessing the GME code. Its shares today slid back 20 per cent from its closing price yesterday.
