The biggest mover today was B2B investment solutions platform Xplore Wealth Ltd (ASX:XPL) which nearly tripled after a takeover offer from HUB24 Limited (ASX:HUB).

In the resources sector, West Australian explorer Aldoro Resources (ASX:ARN) finished with an intra-day gain of 84 per cent.

Announcing it had commenced exploration at its fully owned Narndee Igneous Complex project in WA’s Murchison Region, ARN said the Complex has similar characteristics to Chalice Gold Mines’ (ASX:CHN) Julimar discovery.

Real estate stock The Agency Group (ASX:AU1) secured an $11m financing package to fund its growth ambitions.

And food & beverage stock Buderim (ASX:BUG), yes that ginger confectionary maker, rose after its quarterly report and a strategy update.
