Just like yesterday the ASX rallied for most of the day but retreated in the afternoon and today closed in the red.

The ASX 200 was down 0.08% at 7,375 points.

Another difference from yesterday was tech was the best sector gaining 1.7% while resources was the worst retreating 1.2%.

Recently listed explorer Lode Resources (ASX:LDR) rose after reporting “significant sulphides” — including 27.5m at ~15% sphalerite (zinc ore), 1% galena (lead ore) and 0.5% chalcopyrite (copper ore) – in maiden drilling at the ‘Webbs Consol’ silver project in NSW.

Gold explorer Victory Mines (ASX:VIC) rose after reporting promising assay results at its Coogee project.

$8m food exporter EVE Investments (ASX:EVE) rose after its latest sales update in which it reported substantial sales growth – 66% in the last quarter in Australia and over 200% in the USA.

Singular Health (ASX:SGH) won funding from the CSIRO Kick-Start Program to undertake a research project with the CSIRO in the development of an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based tool to automatically design replacement cranial implants.

Worley (ASX:WOR) was awarded a low-carbon fuels services contract by Shell in the Netherlands. The deal provides for the construction of a low-carbon fuels facility that will produce 820,000 tonnes every year.

Retail Food Group (ASX:RFG) told shareholders franchisees of the Michel’s Patisserie bought a class action against the company alleging breaches of the Franchise Agreements. The company denied the allegations raised against it and said it would defend the proceedings.

Logistics company Wiseway (ASX:WWG) grew its revenues to $32.1 million in the September quarter up from $31 million in the prior corresponding period. The company credited the boom in ecommerce as well as growth in demand for Australian horticulture products in Asia.

Race Oncology (ASX:RAC) obtained a sixth US patent for its cancer drug Zantrene. The patent further expands the utility of Zantrene, in particular methods that improve Zantrene’s therapeutic ability.

Bailador (ASX:BTI) completed a $4 million follow-on investment into booking software and channel management tech company Rezdy. The valuation of the capital raising resulted in a 38% uplift to the valuation of its existing investment.

Perpetual Resources (ASX:PEC) signed a water lease agreement for its Beharra silica sand project with the Yamatji Southern Regional Corporation. The deal covers 560,000kL of water per annum, which suffices for Beharra’s base case production scenario of 1.5 million tonnes per annum.

Cazaly Resources (ASX:CAZ) and Woomera Mining (ASX:WML) both announced drilling had begun at the Mt Venn project. This current program is designed to test for higher grade gold mineralisation
