Five days in to 2021 and it’s starting to look like COVID-19 didn’t vanish at the stroke of midnight on New Year’s Eve.
Victoria is bracing for another big outbreak as the hotspot exposure list blows out to 100. A new strain in the UK has infected more than 50,000 Britons… overnight.
In other news, Alibaba founder Jack Ma hasn’t been seen in public for two months. And A View to a Kill Bond girl Tanya Roberts died overnight, and was confirmed not dead this morning.
But the biggest thing to emerge in 2021 so far is John Dillermand’s penis.
Check it out:
Target audience? Children aged four to eight.
Highlight since it went to air on Saturday? The moment John Dillermand used his penis to steal an ice cream off a kid.
Basically, it’s the Mr Men book Roger Hargreaves always wanted to write.
To markets, and the ASX 200 can’t be bothered today, following on from deflated efforts by all the major US indices overnight.
Commodities were broadly flatlining as well, apart from, obviously, iron ore which has now passsed $US163.
