This recent wave of positive developments related to the COVID-19 vaccine have helped investors look past the global surge in infections and anticipate economic recovery next year.
Wall Street’s major indexes touched record highs yesterday. Again.
Morningstar analysts expect investor attention will now gradually shift from vaccine approvals “to their global distribution and any possible side effects that may occur”.
Meanwhile, a long awaited commodities ‘super cycle’ is probs upon us.
Base metals boom as oil recovers. “2020 poster child” gold climbs back towards ~$US1,900/oz. And iron ore prices just hit eight-year highs.
The Aussie bourse keeps climbing. The ASX 200 was up 0.67 per cent to 6,732.4 points by midday eastern time.

Junior explorer Six Sigma Metals (ASX:SI6) announced plans to raise $2 million while updating shareholders on its suite of nickel copper projects this morning.
