It may be another week and a half until Black Friday, but some retailers are already offering their deals.

eBay for example is offering Black Friday deals to its members as well as Freedom, Amart Furniture, Dyson and Dell.

And perhaps it might be wise to get in early. Social media has been brewing with anger about Australia Post’s delivery issues lately.

In recent days Australia Post has told the public it has caught up with the demand, and was opening a new parcel distribution centre in Victoria. It also hired 5,000 more staff.

But it has warned you must send your items by December 13 if you want them to be received by Christmas.

To markets, the ASX 200 is down by 0.60% as at 11.45am (AEDT).

All sectors were down with the sole exemption of property trusts while the worst sector was resources, which shed 1.29%.

At 1:30pm EST, RBA governor Philip Lowe will give a speech called ‘Recent Trends in Inflation’.
