• ASX rallies on commodity boost
  • Brainchip and Droneshield soar post Christmas break
  • Aussies might have splashed $1.3b on Boxing Day sales

The ASX is back in action after the Christmas break, making the most of a rise in commodity prices to keep this week’s rally rolling.

At 12:55pm AEDT, the benchmark added 0.55%. Not bad for a post-holiday comeback, with 9 out of 11 sectors in the green.

The rally capped off a strong Monday, when the ASX had its best day in six months, jumping 1.7% after last week’s heavy selling.
