Stockhead’s Top 10 at 10, published at 10.15am each trading day, highlights the best (and worst) performing ASX small caps in morning trade using live data.

It’s a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms.

The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every ASX stock has commenced trading.

BBX Minerals (ASX:BBX), which is one of many explorers in the gold space but also one of the few in silver, rose after an exploration update. It announced the results of metallurgical test work from its project into Brazil with 9 out of 10 sample results being between 16.1g/t and 23.2g/t gold.

Also gaining after an exploration update was California focused gas play Xstate (ASX:XST) as well as its partner Sacgasco (ASX:SGC). The pair announced their Borba discovery was flowing gas at a rate of 1.6 million cubic feet per day.

And Taruga Minerals (ASX:TAR) rose afte confirming a high-grade copper discovery at its Mt Craig project in South Australia.

Iron Road (ASX:IRD), a company which is in the iron ore and hydrogen spaces, fell after announcing a capital raising.
