Markets opened on a positive note this morning. As at 10.15am, 600 stocks were up, 426 were down and 1088 were unchanged.

Once again the bulk of winners were in resources. Metals Australia (ASX:MLS) surged thanks to its maiden JORC resource for its Canadian graphite project as did Meteoric Resources (ASX:MEI) which announced a project acquisition and Stavely Minerals (ASX:SVY) with another massive copper hit.

In tech engage:BDR (ASX:EN1) surged as it unveiled a new commercial partnership.
