Stockhead’s Top 10 at 10, published at 10.15am each trading day, highlights the best (and worst) performing ASX small caps in morning trade using live data.

It’s a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms.

The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every ASX stock has commenced trading.

Stocks highlighted in yellow have made market-moving announcements (click headings to sort).

Australasian Gold (ASX:A8G) rose after an update on its gold and lithium projects in Queensland and the NT.

Papyrus (ASX:PPY) told shareholders it completed a successful trial of its banana fibre to produce commercial quantities of biodegradable moulded food packaging products.

Venture Minerals (ASX:VMS) fell after telling shareholders it was suspending operations at its Ridley Iron Ore mine to identify cost efficiency measures in response to declining market conditions.

This was despite the company’s first shipment of iron ore – which consisted of 45,632 tonnes of iron ore with an average grade 0f 57.3% Fe.
