Stockhead’s Top 10 at 10, published at 10.15am each trading day, highlights the best (and worst) performing ASX small caps in morning trade using live data.

It’s a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms.

The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every ASX stock has commenced trading.

Stocks highlighted in yellow have made market-moving announcements (click headings to sort).

Last night, Wall Street was rocked with news that COVID-19 vaccine candidate Pfizer was shown to be 90 per cent effective in a clinical trial of 44,000 people.

It led to US stocks such as airline and travel stocks rising while work from home stocks, particularly Zoom falling.

This morning few of the winners and losers had news – rather they were just following Wall St.

Winners included shopping centre lessor Scentre (ASX:SCG), serviced office provider Victory Offices (ASX:VOL) and travel stocks Jayride (ASX:JAY) and Helloworld (ASX:HLO).

One stock with news of its own was pharmaceutical stock Probiotec (ASX:PBP) which announced an acquisition.
