Base metals explorer Matsa Resources (ASX:MAT) announced a 410m interception of blebby and semi massive sulphides made at its Symons Hill nickel project.

Gold explorer Mithril Resources Ltd (MTH:ASX) also rose with an exploration update, drilling over 80g/t gold and 700g/t silver at its project in Mexico.

And Australian Pharma Industries (ASX:API) rose thanks to a takeover bid from Wesfarmers.
