Stockhead’s Top 10 at 10 highlights the best (and worst) performing ASX small caps in morning trade.
It’s a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms.
The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every stock has commenced trading.
Stocks highlighted in yellow have made market-moving announcements (click headings to sort):
Cann Global (ASX:CGB) announced its Certified Organic Hemp Protein powder would be coming to Costco stores in Australia.
While none of today’s big losers among small caps had news this morning. Dragontail Systems (ASX:DTS) and Biotron (ASX:BIO) both clawed back gains made yesterday.
Biotron said in its response to a price query from the ASX that it had news that could explain the recent price movement, but Dragontail yesterday welcomed a new cornerstone investor from the US.
But among large caps, engineering firm Downer (ASX:DOW) fell after a hefty profit downgrade.
