While none of today’s big losers among small caps had news this morning. Dragontail Systems (ASX:DTS) and Biotron (ASX:BIO) both clawed back gains made yesterday.

Biotron said in its response to a price query from the ASX that it had news that could explain the recent price movement, but Dragontail yesterday welcomed a new cornerstone investor from the US.

But among large caps, engineering firm Downer (ASX:DOW) fell after a hefty profit downgrade.
