US focused lithium stock Hawkstone Mining (ASX:HWK) announced it had produced lithium at 99.8 per cent purity has been achieved. This is the standard of major international battery manufacturers and exceeds the Benchmark Mineral Intelligences battery grade Li2CO3 at >99.5 per cent.

Speaking of lithium Aruma Resources (ASX:AAJ) announced plans for its maiden drilling program at its Mt Deans project in Western Australia.

Aspiring gold producer Emmerson Resources (ASX:ERM) completed a capital raising at a hefty premium.

And wave energy microcap Carnegie (ASX:CCE) rose off the back of news it was now debt-free.

Manganese play Element 25 (ASX:E25) also undertook a capital raising, to the tune of $35 million, but it fell despite being at a premium – albeit less than Emmerson.
