Gains were led by innovative research company Strategic Elements (ASX:SOR), which almost doubled after announcing its subsidiary, Australian Advanced Materials, is developing a self-charging battery technology in collaboration with the University of NSW and the CSIRO.
Range International (ASX:RAN) also jumped on high volume after announcing that Nestle has made a new $US172,920 order for the company’s recycled plastic pallets for its various factories in the Philippines.
