Australian investors are in a risk-on mode this morning. 709 stocks are up, 196 are down and 1209 are unchanged.

West Africa focused gold play Cardinal Resources (ASX:CDV) got another takeover offer, this time from Shandong Gold at 60 cents per share. Cardinal’s board are unanimously backing the bid.

Another, Golden Rim Resources (ASX:GMR) announced a capital raising and an immanent drilling campaign.

Buy now pay later stock Splitit (ASX:SPT) has kept climbing after yesterday’s deal with Mastercard, nearly returning to its highs seen early last year.
