On the flip side, Air New Zealand (ASX:AIZ) nearly halved as investors had their first chance to sell after being in a trading halt for most of the week.

The company has drastically cut flights due to demand plummeting and border closures. There has been speculation they will not be able to survive without a government bailout although this morning Jacinda Ardern indicated it would get one.
