Some of the biggest gainers included Engineering firm EVZ (ASX:EVZ), PPE maker VIP Gloves (ASX:VIP) and real estate tech firm AssetOwl (ASX:AO1).
One non-quarterlies riser was aged care provider Japara Healthcare (ASX:JHC) which got a takeover offer.
And gold stock Orminex (ASX:ONX) rose with exploration results.
