Sydney-based Immutable is partnering with a European blockchain technology provider to more easily onboard users into its ecosystem.

Formerly known as Arkane Network, Venly has a “semi-custodial” Venly wallet that offers seamless signup via email, Google, Facebook, or Twitter.

The integration will let Venly’s users trade their Immutable X-powered NFTs with zero gas fees on the carbon-neutral Venly marketplace.

The partnership will mean the possibility of easily selling Immutable X-powered NFTs via Venly Market and Shopify, which has a partnership with Venly, as well as interacting with Venly’s Application Programming Interface (API) solutions.

“As a blockchain-agnostic platform, we are happy to integrate another significant L2 into our offerings. After doing our due diligence, Immutable proved to be a highly reliable partner – and its value proposition was an important factor, too,” said Tim Dierckxsens, Venly co-founder and CEO.

“We want everyone building on Immutable to know that they can now leverage Venly solutions to do that.”

Venly currently supports over 12 blockchains. This partnership means that Immutable X will be added to Venly’s list of preferred solutions, which also include Polygon, BNB Chain, Avalanche, and Hedera.

“We’re thrilled to work with Venly’s 2 million users and a ridiculously simple wallet for onboarding mainstream customers. Onboarding the next billion users into crypto requires seamless UX, and Venly is a gateway we’re excited to enable for all projects building on top of Immutable,” said Immutable co-founder Robbie Ferguson.

“We’re also thrilled to welcome Venly’s 2 million users, who can now easily use games and apps building on Immutable.”

Immutable X is being used to power a number of NFT plays, including by TikTok, SuperFarm, GameStop, Habbo and Highrise.
